Who We Are?
In early 2008 we first visited Estancia Laguna Verde on Jurassic Lake, in search of incredible fishing in remote Southern Patagonia, and we left with the crazy idea of starting a world-class fishing operation, beginning this journey in December of 2008!
When Estancia Laguna Verde turned into a reality and became world-renowned as one of the best fishing operations in the world, that pursuit was continued all the way to Golden Dorado. The search for unique destinations was the spark for the idea of a mothership dorado fishing operation, the Golden Dorado River Cruiser.
Several years later, those early ideas have now evolved to start the Duck Hunting Argentina Cruiser, the first and only Mothership duck hunting and cast & blast program in Argentina, which is committed to providing the most outstanding and unique waterfowl hunting programs worldwide.
The possibility of offering a similar quality of services in another lodge close to Estancia Laguna Verde Lodge, which is Lago Strobel Lodge, as well as two big-game hunting operations in the province of La Pampa, quickly arose.
All of them with one common goal in mind: To be faithful to our mission!

"In December 2024, I traveled with a group of friends, seven in total, to Lago Strobel Lodge. Just when you think you've seen it all, or at least a lot, you come across this place. A rugged and challenging landscape to navigate, but one that allows you to reach the shores of its imposing lake to fish for the majestic Rainbow Trout that inhabit it. I had never seen a place like this, where you can catch trophy fish weighing 7 kilos or more, truly vigorous and powerful. Upon returning to the lodge, you are welcomed by the camaraderie of a team of people who are there doing their best to ensure you have a great time. The homemade dishes have distinct flavors and just the right variety. One day, they prepared a traditional "cordero a la cruz" (butterflied lamb slow-roasted over an open fire) along with some grilled specialties, which I believe gave the experience a mark of excellence—always accompanied by great wines. My friends were delighted with the place, the fishing, the overall hospitality, and the guides. I highly recommend this place to visit, fish, and enjoy its nature and services. "OTRA EXPERIENCIA MARAVILLOSA"
These were four unforgettable, beautiful days at Lodge Lago Strobel. From the warm welcome at Laguna Verde by our host Lucho, along with his staff and guides—absolute geniuses—everything was excellent.
Then we set off for the lodge, traveling along the lake’s edge with stunning landscapes—a must for nature lovers.
The reception at Lodge LS was fantastic. The staff, Graciela (Chef) and Miguel (Services), were phenomenal. The facilities? Outstanding—7⭐! The guides, Carlos and Marcos (I hope I got the names right), were amazing.
Carlos, my guide—there are not enough words to thank him for everything he did for me in these four days. He was my driver, photographer, videographer, tire repairman, and a professional fishing guide all in one. He even got me to fish with a pink-colored fly—an absolute legend!
I also can’t forget Silvia, who was my point of contact and made my stay possible. Thank you for everything, and if God grants me life, I will surely return to this paradise.
